Know More

We helped TRMG evolve its digital presence — blending modern design, Indian architectural cues, and clear storytelling to position it as the leading independent investment bank for India’s private markets.®

About the Client

The Rainmaker Group (TRMG) is one of India’s leading investment banks, advising unicorns, mid-market businesses, and institutional investors in private markets.

Known for its founder-first approach, TRMG has partnered with some of India’s most iconic ventures — including Swiggy, OYO, Zetwerk, CarDekho, and ixigo — helping them raise growth capital, pursue M&A, and unlock liquidity.

Woman

The Brief

TRMG wanted a digital presence that matched its real-world reputation.

The goal was to redesign its website into a platform that reflected credibility, scale, and Indian sophistication — a modern identity that could speak equally to multinational investors and family-run enterprises.

The new website needed to be:

  • Scalable and responsive

  • SEO-optimized and high-performing

  • Subtly infused with Indian cultural cues that reinforce heritage and trust

Man Ground Shot

Problem Statement

Despite its pedigree, TRMG’s previous digital identity didn’t reflect its stature.

The old website felt dated, rigid, and impersonal — built on SquareSpace with limited flexibility. It lacked narrative depth, visual coherence, and cultural relevance.

The challenge was to create a digital brand that felt both global and grounded — one that would communicate TRMG’s scale, expertise, and unique Indian perspective.

How can a financial brand rooted in India’s legacy feel globally credible without losing its soul?

In 90 days, a complete brand and website overhaul achieved a 60% improvement in performance.

The Process

We approached TRMG’s redesign as both a strategic and cultural exercise — merging brand storytelling, digital architecture, and nuanced design.

Phase 1 – Foundation

We began by mapping TRMG’s positioning and tone.
Workshops with the leadership team helped us define what TRMG stands for — Singular focus. Deep expertise. Wide network.

Phase 2 – Design Strategy

We explored visual language rooted in Indian architecture — geometric motifs, arch-inspired patterns, and a rich palette blending corporate blue with earthy gold tones.
Typography drew subtle inspiration from Devanagari, adding quiet character without overpowering the global aesthetic.

Phase 3 – Development

We transitioned the site from SquareSpace to Webflow — enabling fully responsive, SEO-friendly, modular design.
This allowed for easier content scaling and smoother performance across all devices.

The Solution

“A modern digital experience rooted in structure, storytelling, and scalability.”

Design Language

A clean, grid-based layout inspired by financial structure and architectural symmetry.
Subtle patterns and gold accents add a touch of heritage without feeling ornamental.

Content & Storytelling

The website narrative mirrors the journey of Indian founders and investors — clear, credible, and human.
We introduced storytelling elements such as:

  • Interactive Timeline: “Journey of Indian Unicorns”

  • Founder Spotlights: Showcasing relationships behind major deals

  • Regional Testimonials: Building connection across India’s diverse markets

Technical Execution

  • Responsive grids and mobile-first approach

  • SEO-rich architecture and optimized metadata

  • Modular CMS for future scalability

  • Performance-first Webflow implementation

Man Back Pose

Results & Impact

Measurable outcomes that reflect both performance and perception.

Quantitative

  • 60% faster load times after moving to Webflow

  • 30% increase in organic traffic within the first 3 months

  • Improved search ranking for “investment banking India” keywords

Qualitative

  • Elevated TRMG’s brand perception as a credible, modern firm rooted in Indian identity

  • 40% increase in average session duration, indicating deeper engagement

  • Recognized by partners and investors for its distinctive design and clarity

This project was about more than a website — it was about redefining how Indian financial institutions express themselves digitally.

For us, it was a study in balance: global sophistication paired with cultural identity, precision paired with warmth.

TRMG’s new platform doesn’t just inform — it inspires trust, blending strategy, storytelling, and design into one cohesive experience.
